In the locality of Braník, near the Branický Bridge, a housing development and a tramway construction are being prepared on a municipal plot of approximately 25,000 m2. According to the current zoning plan, about 250 rental flats, commercial and administrative premises and the background of the tram construction could be built here.

Currently, preparatory works for the project and coordination between the Prague City Council, the Municipal Districts of Prague 4 and Dopravní podnik hlavního města Prahy. Everything is being carried out with a view to the future development of tram lines.

The construction will be carried out in two or three phases with a time estimate between 2023 and 2030.
